Attention teachers! David Fleay Wildlife Park offers teachers free entry to the park for a pre-visitation/excursion inspection. This free visit gives teachers the opportunity to see the park and its education programs at first hand. It is also an ideal opportunity to discuss your special needs with our education ranger.
The park also offers a range of school holiday activities, including the ever popular 'How to be a Wildlife Ranger' workshops. Children from 8-14 get down and dirty with the animals at the park. The park's rationale is simple…during the holidays kids often act like animals, and the junior ranger workshops are an opportunity for them to do it in style.
David Fleay Wildlife Park offers an enjoyable, low-cost experience that gives teachers a great chance to develop many aspects of their educational programs. If you'd like to know more, contact the park and talk to a Ranger about your next excursion.
